Our economy has slowly been recovering but it has not been an easy process. Many people are still struggling to find jobs. I still know of some college graduates that haven’t found anything in their field or degree that they studied in. It’s times like this that I’m really thankful that I have a job.
I hear all of the time from a lot of other people how much their jobs suck. Sometimes it’s the money argument and thinking that they don’t earn enough money. Sometimes it’s the long hours people have to work. Sometimes it’s even just the people that they have to work with. I can tell you that in my life, sometimes I’ve felt the same way and wanted to quit for various reasons. However, if you think about it, you should just be glad you have a job. You should be glad you get a steady income every so often when you get a paycheck. You should be grateful that you have something to live for each and everyday. You should be energized by the fact that you will be helping someone in some manner with a job, whether it’s directly though sales or maybe interacting through phone calls.
It’s an awesome thing to just have a job nowadays. To have that stability is something that many of us are striving for. If you have a job currently, please take a look at all the positive things that come out of it. Think about how it helps you and your family. Think about how it affects others. Your job can’t be that bad can it? At least you have one!
