Today was the first day I actually missed getting a thank you out on time. So today you get double the fun as I’ll post two thank you’s because of this.
Today I wanted to thank all the doctors around the world for doing their part to help better society and increase our chances to live longer, healthier lives.
As I was sitting in a doctor’s office today, I realized that I hadn’t been to a doctor’s office in a long time. It’s partially because I’ve been pretty healthy and fortunately haven’t had many complications or illnesses. It’s also partially because I haven’t had much time to actually go and get checked out. And maybe the bigger reason is I just don’t enjoy doctor visits. I just always feel uncomfortable in them. Don’t ask my why I feel this way, it’s just how I feel.
However, this does not take away from the fact that doctors are still vital in our society. They do years and years of training in order to take care of others and help the sick. It’s very admirable that many people would go through that amount of rigorous training and then take on very long hours just so that they can help people. Throughout the years, the research has been getting even better and doctors now have so many different tools that they can use to save lives.
So this thank you goes out to all the doctors out there. It goes out to all those that are studying to become doctors as well. Thank you for your dedication and your passion to helping other people live healthier and longer lives!
